Tropical Protein Balls

Ingredients:

  1. 1/2 c walnuts
  2. 1/2 c almonds
  3. 1/2 sunflower seeds
  4. 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
  5. 1/2 cup raw oats
  6. 1/4 cup chia seeds
  7. 1/4 cup organic coca powder
  8. 1-2 scoops of a vanilla whey protein powder
  9. 1 c dried pinapple chopped
  10. 1/2 c golden raisins
  11. 1 tsp vanilla extract
  12. 1/3 cup maple syrup
  13. 1/2 peanut butter

Optional:

To make this nut-free remove nuts and use a sunflower seed butter

To make it even more tropical add in coconut shreds

Instructions:

  • In food processor mix oats to a flour
  • Blend all nuts so there are no sharp pieces for the little ones
  • Place in a bowl and add the wet ingredients along with chopped dried fuit
  • Hand mix with about 1 TB of mixture (if it is too dry add 1 TB of h20)
  • Roll into balls
  • Dip into coconut shreds or cocoa powder
  • Let set in fridge for about 10 -20 minutes covered
